Field Marshal Asim Munir Visits Gujranwala and Sialkot Garrisons

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the Gujranwala and Sialkot garrisons, where he was briefed on the operational readiness and preparedness of the formations stationed in the area.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief observed a field training exercise and modern simulator facilities during the visit, highlighting the army’s focus on advanced training methodologies.

Field Marshal Asim Munir praised the high professional standards, combat readiness, and discipline of the formations, commending officers and troops for their dedication.

Emphasizing the importance of technological integration, he stated that modern warfare demands precision, enhanced situational awareness, and rapid decision-making capabilities.

While interacting with officers and soldiers, the field marshal appreciated their high morale and strong commitment to national security, underscoring the value of mission-oriented training.

He reaffirmed that the Pakistan Army remains fully committed to countering both internal and external challenges, including hostile hybrid warfare strategies, extremist ideologies, and elements threatening national stability.

ISPR added that upon his arrival in Gujranwala, Field Marshal Asim Munir was received by the Corps Commander Gujranwala, and the visit was described as part of ongoing efforts to maintain peak operational preparedness.
